Tomorrow is a day off from the gym and after these two workouts I'll gladly take it. Pushed it again today with the same concept as yesterdays shoulder training. Started at my programmed weight and added 10 lbs each set till it reached a RPE 9 and then backed down 10 lbs for my last set. Filmed from side angle two of my heavy sets to make sure I was hitting depth. I was feeling my lower back, which I'm sure is related to doing regular stance deadlifts. For my heavy DL workout I'll be switching to sumo. Overall I was extremely happy with the top weight I hit today and how it moved.
Stripped the bar down and started into some front squats and once again I increased the volume. For me heavier sets of this exercise are lung crushers. Again these moved really well and I was happy with how much more volume I added compared to last week.
My last exercise I really thought about ditching it but decided to do my warm up sets and see how everything felt and then decide. Sumo feels much better on my lower back period so I went ahead with my sets and finished the workout.
Again this does not look like much on paper but my body and CNS are feeling it so far in week 3. Next up will be bench day hopefully on Sunday if all goes to plan. I'm aiming for some big sets, stay tuned..
