Week 8 Day 3 Bench is still going up..

No deloading this week for the bench press it's still balls to the wall. I increased the weight another 10 lbs from last week but decreased the overall volume slightly. I felt the extra weight today but managed to complete 5 sets with no missed reps. For all my work sets once the bar was racked I was finished my next set within 2 minutes or less.
I really concentrated today while benching on two things, one where the bar touches my chest and two leg drive. Two very important items when it comes to pressing big weights. So over supper tonight we came up with a slogan as my cue quads and titties!! Quads means to engage your quads so leg drive is locked in and titties for me is the general area I want to lower the bar to. Now I just have to convince the wife to scream this out at my next competition while I'm under the bar. Hmm might burst out laughing.. not a good plan :).
The rest of the workout was fluff, nothing major just going thru the motions.

Bench Press warm up bar x 20, 95 x 10, 135 x 10, 185 x 5, 225 x 5
work sets 275 x 3, 295 x 3, 305 x 3 5 sets, 305 x 4 AMRAP with sling shot
Wide Grip Pullups BW x 10, BW x 10, BW x 7
Flying Floor DB Flyes 30 x 10, 40 x 10, 50 x 10, 55 x 10, 60 x 10
Seated Two Arm Overhead DB Extensions 50 x 10, 75 x 10, 100 x 10, 100 x 9
