Week 1 Day 1 Seated Front Press

Alright we are off to the races Day 1 is in the books! My morning shake a little time to digest and off to the gym to gettrrrr done!
I must say the extra volume was kicking my ass towards the end. I will show a comparison of what my old Day 1 looked like compared to this new Day 1 with the strength challenge.

For bench press today I used a sling shot from Mark Bell. Helps my shoulder and overloads the top range of motion. Check his stuff out.  Sling Shot Website
I set a new PR for my seated front press excellent! Remember always leave a rep in the tank. No time for cardio today perhaps a walk later instead.
Crush those workouts gym rats.



New Day 1

Week 1

Day 1
1. Seated DB Press  4 warm up sets, 3 x 70. 3 x 75, 9 x 80 new PR!! supersetted each set with band side laterals followed by band rear laterals.
2. Bench Press 8 x 225 for 5 sets with Mark Bell sling shot
3. Bent Over Rows 10 x 135, 10 x 185, 10 x 205, 9 x 225
4. Standing Cable Rope Tricep Pressdowns 3 x 10 supersetted with the bicep exercise
5. Standing Cable Straight Bar Curls 3 x 10


Old Day 1
1. Seated DB Press, 5/3/1 sets/reps supersetted with narrow grip pullups
2. Bench Press 3 x 5 70%
3. Band Side and Rear Laterals superset
4. Face pulls, 3 sets of 20 reps
